The DDL - Laser Innovation Award 2012
The DDL‘s (German Society of Laser Dermatology) Laser Innovation Award in the field of Laser Therapy or IPL-Technology will be awarded again in 2012.The ceremony will take place within the scope of the 21th Annual Conference in Essen, September 20th – 22th, 2012). The award comes with prize money of 3000 €. On the occasion of the DDL’s 20th Anniversary, 2 awards will be given out this year. With the Laser Innovation Award the DDL contributes to the improvement of existing laser skin therapy and to the scientific examination of new indications for laser skin therapy. The Deutsche Dermatologische Lasergesellschaft (DDL) is an association of dermatologists who have specialised in laser applications and represent a high standard of laser safety. The DDL was founded in Sigmaringen in 1992 and currently has over 135 members in Germany and neighbouring countries. The DDL educates and trains its members in the use of various types of lasers and therapies as well as laser safety. In order to apply for the 2011 Innovation Prize the following conditions must be fulfilled:
- Dermatologists from Germany, Switzerland and Austria are entitled to participate.
- Eligible for submission are research articles in German or English which deal with the topic of laser dermatology therapy or IPL technology used in dermatology and aesthetic medicine.
- Articles published in previous years may also still be submitted.
Articles must be submitted both in written and in digital form on media to the President of the Deutsche Dermatologische Lasergesellschaft:
